2018 Invest In Success

Thank you to all our guests who joined us for our 2018 Invest in Success Event on June 12, 2018! With your support, College Now raised over $50,000 in celebration of college and career access innovation.

Invest in Success is an annual event that provides College Now with the opportunity to recognize and acknowledge the impact of an individual on our organization and our community.

This year, in recognition of our 50th anniversary, College Now was pleased to honor the four foundation funders who have supported the organization since our inception – The Cleveland Foundation, The George Gund Foundation, The John Huntington Fund for Education and The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. These funders’ initial $40,000 in contributions started a relationship that continues today and has resulted in over $40 million in grants to College Now since our inception.

At the event, guests heard from Greg Moore, a College Now scholarship recipient who graduated from Glenville High School in 1972 and from Ohio Wesleyan in 1976 with a degree in journalism and political science. Mr. Moore has had a distinguished career in journalism, which culminated with his tenure as the Editor of The Denver Post from 2002 to 2016. During his time there, the newspaper won four consecutive Pulitzer Prizes.

Past Invest in Success honorees include: Patrick S. Mullin, Retired Managing Partner, Deloitte and former College Now Board Chair; Jeanette Grasselli Brown, Retired Scientist, Standard Oil Company and former College Now Board Chair; Paul Clark, Regional President, PNC Bank; and Margot Copeland, Chair and CEO, KeyBank Foundation.
